Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.

Responsibilities

• Assists with data collection and evaluation of patient medical and surgical history.
• Maintains a safe environment and responds to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepares and administers medications and fluids per safe practice standards.
• Continuously assesses airway, anesthesia depth, fluid status, and physiologic response for patient safety.
• Completes required documentation: surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, and transfer-of-care note.
• Logs incident reporting in the Safety Portal.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
