Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a nursing student in the Nurse Anesthesia Program to assist in the Anesthesia Department Laboratory and support core didactic courses. Candidates must be in years 2 or 3 of the AHU Nurse Anesthesia program, hold a Bachelor’s of Nursing and an active RN license, and be able to work 8-10 hours per week on a PRN schedule during the day.

Job Description:

• Assists with instruction in the Anesthesia Department Laboratory setting.

• Develops and delivers lectures in core didactic anesthesia courses under faculty guidance.

• Develops methods of evaluation in core didactic anesthesia courses with faculty guidance.

• Mentors first-year and second-year nurse anesthesia students.

• Works up to 8-10 hours per week as required.
