Job summary

One GI in Germantown, TN is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time, 40-hour week. You will evaluate patients pre-operatively, administer anesthesia, monitor intra-operative status, and provide post-op care to ensure safe recovery.

Qualified candidates hold CRNA certification, RN and APN licensure, and ACLS; extensive anesthesia experience is preferred. Attractive benefits and growth opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Must have CRNA certification and state RN/APN licensure.
• Graduate of an approved RN program and Nurse Anesthesia program.
• ACLS certification required.
• Background in anesthesia administration and patient monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients pre-operatively and select anesthesia plan.
• Administer anesthesia and monitor intra-operative status.
• Maintain anesthesia records and ensure equipment safety.
• Post-operative care and transfer to recovery.
• Stock and manage anesthesia supplies and controlled substances.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Graduation from an approved RN program

Graduation from an approved Nurse Anesthesia Program

Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Current Registered Nurse and APN Licensure in applicable state

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification
