Job summary

Ascend Vision Partners in Florida seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to deliver safe anesthesia and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across ophthalmic procedures. You will assess patients, develop personalized plans, and ensure comfort and safety before, during, and after procedures in a surgical setting.

The role requires Florida CRNA licensure, a DNP/Master’s in nurse anesthesia, NBCRNA certification, ACLS/BLS, and 1–2 years of ambulatory surgery center experience,

Qualifications

• Florida license as CRNA required.
• Master’s or DNP in Nurse Anesthesia.
• CRNA certification NBCRNA.
• 1–2 years ambulatory surgery center experience, ophthalmology preferred.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during ophthalmic procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and plan anesthesia accordingly.
• Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare professionals on care plans.
• Monitor vital signs during anesthesia and adjust dosages as needed.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and recovery monitoring.
• Maintain accurate patient records of anesthesia procedures.
• Educate patients and families about anesthesia and postoperative care.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in anesthesia.
• Respond to emergencies with airway management and CPR if required.
• Engage in continuing education to maintain certification and skills.
