Qualifications

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation.
• Preferred: At least 2 years of independent practice experience.
• Holds current active state licensure as a registered nurse in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document pre‑anesthesia assessment and evaluation of the patient.
• Select, prepare, and use equipment for anesthesia and pain management.
• Evaluate the patient’s response to anesthesia and take appropriate corrective action.

Skills

Ability to operate anesthesia equipment

Effective verbal and written communication

Ability to perform under stressful conditions
