Qualifications

• Must be graduate of accredited nursing program and licensed as Advanced Practice Nurse
• Graduate of nurse anesthesia program accredited by AANA
• RN license and NBCRNA certification required for credentialing
• ACLS and PALS certifications required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer anesthetic agents
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluation to assess factors affecting anesthesia plan
• Monitor patient in operating room to maintain homeostasis
• Record anesthetic information for permanent medical record
• Provide supervision or guidance to anesthesia students and trainees
• Other duties as assigned
