Job summary

Master's in nurse anesthesia, LA APRN license, AANA certification and BCLS are required; no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nurse anesthesia from an AANA-accredited program.
• APRN license in the state of practice.
• AANA certification and BCLS certification.
• No specific work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient before, during, and after administering anesthesia.
• Administers anesthesia and monitors patient safety.
• Acts as liaison to surgeons, anesthesiologists, staff and patients.
• Documents procedures and incidents.
• Follows compliance, privacy and safety standards.
