Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a board-certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to deliver comprehensive anesthesia care in a hospital setting. The role emphasizes patient safety, collaboration with surgeons and anesthesia colleagues, and a focus on high-value care.

Applicants must hold an accredited Nurse Anesthesia degree, Colorado RN and APRN credentials, NBCRNA certification, and current BLS/ACLS; PALS/ATLS may be required depending on the setting.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Current RN license in Colorado.
• APRN recognition in Colorado.
• NBCRNA certification.
• BLS and ACLS by American Heart Association.
• PALS/ATLS may be required depending on setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care including pre-anesthetic evaluation, plan formulation, intraoperative management and post-anesthetic care.
• Offer anesthesia for general, regional, local, and MAC techniques with vigilant monitoring.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses and other clinicians for safe perioperative care.
• Document care for patient records and billing; participate in quality improvement.
• Educate and mentor nursing students and trainees.
