Job summary

Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and immediate post-operative anesthesia care across multiple locations and ORs.

The role includes anesthesia planning, airway management, and perioperative support in a high-volume academic setting. The CRNA will work within an Anesthesia Care Team model and may engage in teaching, quality improvement, and research activities.

• CPR management.
• Airway management techniques.
• Mechanical ventilation/oxygen therapy.
• Fluid, electrolyte, and acid-base management.
• Blood, blood products, plasma expanders.
• Peripheral intravenous/arterial catheter placement.
• Central venous catheter placement.
• Pulmonary artery catheter placement.
• Acute and chronic pain therapy.
• Post-anesthesia care/discharge.
• Collaborate with physician for patient condition guidance.
