Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse procedures at the UAB St. Vincent’s Birmingham campus.

The role is flexi/PRN and non-benefited, with opportunities across multiple surgical services and student instruction. Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program, hold Alabama CRNA licensure, and maintain BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Alabama CRNA license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provides anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse procedures.
• Participates in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
