Qualifications

• Generally requires 1 to 3 years of related experience.

• National Board Certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.

Responsibilities

• Documents patients pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation.
• Formulates patient-specific plans for anesthesia care.
• Recognizes abnormal patient response to anesthesia and takes appropriate action.
• Monitors and adjusts patients' physiologic condition during anesthesia.
• Provides resuscitation during recovery from anesthesia.
