Job summary

Geisinger Wyoming Valley is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia care in the operating room, perform preoperative evaluation and postoperative follow-up, and act as a patient advocate and liaison among patients, families, and physicians.

The role includes anesthesia induction and maintenance, monitoring, documentation in the EMR, and collaboration with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing required.
• Licensed CRNA and PA RN license in Pennsylvania.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients.
• Coordinate with surgical team and anesthesia staff.
• Maintain airway and respond to codes as needed.
• Document care accurately in the EMR.
