Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Nurse Anesthetist certification (CRNA) required.
• Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber license issued by Wisconsin.
• Current DEA registration required.
• PALS certification needed within 6 months, unless waived.
• ACLS certification needed within 6 months, unless waived.
• NRP certification needed within 6 months, unless waived.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services including induction and maintenance.
• Recover patients and handle post-anesthesia duties.
• Respond to life-threatening emergencies and code situations.
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and checks.
