Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
• 1 year of experience as a CRNA (preferred).
• Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).
• BLS Certification.
• ACLS Certification.
• Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or DNAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide CRNA services for general surgery, sports orthopedics, and complex spine cases.
• Collaborate with physician anesthesiologists for timely, high-quality anesthesia care.
• Precept Columbia University nurse anesthesia students and participate in peer-reviewed research and simulations.
• Cross-train across campuses and specialties with potential for cross-credentialing.
