Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist across diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests in Birmingham and central Alabama. You will also participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students within a large, academic program.

Salary ranges from $203,500 to $273,884 per year with a potential $45,000 sign‑on and an $18,000 yearly incentive, plus robust benefits and PSLF-eligible

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• Certified Advanced Practice Nurse with CRNA specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
