Job summary

Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia, LA seeks skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join a team delivering varied anesthetics in the Surgical Suite and Labor & Delivery Unit. The CRNA will ensure safe, patient-centered care across age groups and health statuses, with orientation to IMC policies during a 90-day probation.

Positions include call and weekend duties for standard employment; an option for 7:00 am–3:00 pm, Monday–Friday without call or weekends may be available.

Qualifications

• CRNA must be licensed in Louisiana as RN and APRN with CNOR or equivalent certification.
• Graduate of an approved Nurse Anesthesia Program and current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current licensure and hospital privileges.
• Report to work as scheduled with proper ID and attire.
• Deliver diverse anesthetics for patients across age groups.
• Support anesthesia department policies and procedures.

IMC is looking to add a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).The staff CRNA is a member of a team ofprofessionals who are available to deliver different types of anesthetics to awide variety of patients of all age groups and health status in Iberia MedicalCenter. Anesthetizing locations are primarilylimited to the Surgical Suite and the Labor and Delivery Unit. Emergent situations in other areas of thehospital may dictate the CRNA’s presence there.

WORK HOURS:

• Call and Weekends expected (for standard employment)
• 1099 and Full Time Employment available
• Potential option:7:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday - Friday, NO CALL, NO WEEKENDS!

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nurseprogram; Graduate of an approved NurseAnesthesia Program
• Must be licensed in the State of Louisiana asa Registered Nurse, and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. Must also be nationally Certified (orRe-certified) by the Council on Certification of the American Association ofNurse Anesthetists. Basic Life Support certification

JOB KNOWLEDGE:

• Staff CRNA’s will attendthe hospital required orientation, as well as a comprehensive orientation tothe Anesthesia department.Familiarization of the Policies and Procedures of the department will bepart of the 90 day Probationary Period.

• Maintain current/appropriate licensures.
