Job summary
MUSC Health – Lancaster Medical Center is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join a collaborative Anesthesia Care Team, delivering hands-on anesthesia across a diverse case mix at two campuses in Lancaster and Chester, SC. You will work with experienced CRNAs and board-certified Anesthesiologists, enjoying physician partnership and strong support resources.
The role offers autonomy within the team, with options for 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts, and dedicated night and weekend
Qualifications
- Experience administering vascular, minimal pediatric, neuro, regional, and orthopedic anesthesia, including outpatient surgery.
- Graduate of a program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
- Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia; effective after Mar 1, 2019, or higher.
- Insurable by MUSC malpractice insurer with the required limits.
- Recognized as an APRN with current SC license or eligibility to obtain it.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications per AHA or Red Cross standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on anesthesia care across a broad case mix with physician partnership.
- Collaborate within an Anesthesia Care Team and supervise cases in Lancaster and Chester.
- Utilize USGRA, SAB, LE, and central line skills as part of routine practice.
- Contribute to patient safety and high-quality outcomes in a team-focused environment.
