Gowithzealmed seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for locum tenens in Fredericksburg, VA. The float pool will place you across 3 ambulatory centers with 40 hours per week; shifts may be 8s, 10s, or 12s, mostly days with occasional night coverage and one weekend per month if needed.

Requirements include VA state license, BLS, AHA certifications, and a minimum of two years of experience. OB and thoracic cases are required; pediatric experience preferred.

• Proficient with spinals and epidural placement and management.
• Eligible for credentialing at 4-OR satellite hospital & 6-OR ASC and occasional float to pediatric cases.

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Locum Tenens | Fredericksburg, VA

Position Overview

• Facility Type: Float Pool
  • Floating between 3 Ambulatory Centers
• 6- or 12-month availability preferred
• 36 - 40 hours/week
• Schedule:
  • Must be able to work full-time - 40hrs/wk
  • Need to be flexible with different shifts - 8s,10s, 12s
  • Mostly days, but they may need night coverage occasionally
  • Availability to work one weekend/mo if they need it
• Procedures:
  • OB and thoracic experience is required.
  • PEDS is preferred
  • All cases except transplants. Hearts, lung, Healthy Peds Dental/ENT, OB, Ortho, GI, ENT, etc. CRNA do own epidurals, spinals. No blocks.
  • Level 2 trauma designation: Heavy OB, thoracic, EP, vascular Must be proficient with spinals and epidural placement and management
  • In addition to the main OR, will be credentialed at 4-OR satellite hospital & 6-OR ASC and occasionally float - pediatric experience preferred
  • Blocks not guaranteed!
  • Level 2 Trauma experience is a MUST
