Job summary

Royal Surgical Associates in Reading, PA is seeking an Advanced Practice CRNA to provide anesthesia coverage for a wide range of surgical cases. The role involves duties from general to obstetrical anesthesia, including neurosurgical and complex vascular/orthopedic cases, with 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide CRNA coverage for general, gynecology, orthopedics, labor and delivery, cath lab, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology cases.
• Perform intubations and manage ventilation as needed.
• Independently manage anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients.
• Monitor and manage hemodynamics and fluid status intraoperatively.
• Place central/arterial lines and PA catheters as required.

Opportunity: Advanced Practice (CRNA) - (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details

Provide CRNA coverage for all surgical cases including general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, labor and delivery, cath lab, cardiovascular lab, and interventional radiology Perform house-wide intubations as needed Shifts are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, four 10-hour shifts per week No weekends, no on-call, and no holidays Full-time position only No guaranteed time; 30-minute unpaid lunch break per shift Average patient load of 3-4 patients per day Required anesthesia skills include general anesthesia (adult and pediatric), spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and obstetrical cases Neurosurgical cases required including head and spine procedures Complex vascular and complex orthopedic cases required Pain management techniques required including post-op epidural, post-op extremity blocks, and epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical procedures Additional required skills include ventilation management, evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues, central line placement, arterial line placement, and PA catheter placement Board certification required; ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
