Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks a CRNA - Anesthesia in Nevada for day shifts. You will independently manage anesthesia experiences, perform preoperative evaluations, and administer regional, general, and neuraxial anesthesia.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient responses, managing fluids and airway, and documenting events while ensuring privacy and adherence to medical bylaws. Licensure and COA-approved education required.

CRNA - Anesthesia

Shift: Days

Shift Structure: Daily shifts will begin at 0630 and will be assigned as 8, 10, or 12-hour durations to meet variable surgical and patient care demands.All shifts include a minimum of a 30-minute uncompensated lunch break.Schedule Management: The specific shift assignment is determined by the Government supervisor.

Description:

Independently manage patient anesthesia experiences without physician supervision.Perform preoperative evaluations and preparations.Administer monitored anesthesia care, regional, general, and neuraxial anesthesia.Monitor and manage patient reactions to anesthesia and surgery.Manage fluid therapy and invasive monitoring.Conduct post-operative evaluations as privileged.Perform pre-anesthetic assessments, obtaining informed consent from patients.Request consultations and/or diagnostic studies as needed.Order pre-anesthetic medications.Develop and implement anesthetic plans.Assess patients immediately prior to induction of anesthesia.Review medical records for completeness and pertinent laboratory data.Evaluate pre-anesthesia medication dosages and any changes in patients' conditions.Maintain patients' physiologic homeostasis.Correct abnormal responses to anesthesia and/or surgery.Collect and interpret patient physiological data using noninvasive monitoring modalities.Manage patients' airways and pulmonary functions.Oversee patients' emergence and recovery from anesthesia.Provide relief from pain and address anesthesia side effects.Prevent and manage complications through medication, fluids, or ventilator support.Record all pertinent events during the administration of anesthesia.Document post-anesthetic visits, noting any anesthesia-related complications.Ensure the utmost care and attention for all patients.Safeguard patient privacy and personal dignity.Present a professional and neat appearance while on duty.Comply with hygiene standards expected of health care workers.Arrive early to prepare for the start of the duty day and be flexible with shift completion.Ensure participation in orientation procedures for new medical employees.Adhere to medical staff bylaws upon acceptance of privileges.

Qualifications:

Masters or Doctorate degree in nursing.Graduate from an academic program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs (COA).

General Knowledge:

Possess the ability to pass a government background check/security clearance.As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the CRNA/Anesthesia-specific credentialing instructionsminimum 2 years of active practice as a CRNA, current within the last 6 months of applicationpractice must have included cases specifically in General Anesthesia and Obstetric (Neuraxial) Anesthesia.

Licensure:

Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a RNCurrent Registered Nurse Anesthetist from the National Board for Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA), AND a current state (any state in the U.S.) Registered Nursing (RN) License and CRNA License.
