Description:We are seeking a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for locum tenens coverage.Providers with settlements, DUIs, drug issues, restrictions, or medical board actions are not eligible for temporary privileges.A completed application must be submitted.References should be prepared to respond promptly.

Schedule:

Coverage will be inpatient.This role involves hospital and on-call duties.There is a requirement for 24-hour weekend call.The provider is expected to cover ongoing shifts.Shifts will be scheduled as needed.A minimum of five shifts per month is required, but more may be offered.

Patient Encounters:The provider will have an expected patient load of 7-10 per shift.The facility requires board certification for physicians.Credentialing is estimated to take 15-30 days.

Required Skills and Certifications:BLS certification is mandatory.Procedures required include central line placement and arterial line placement.Candidates must have proficiency in general anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients.Regional anesthesia skills are also necessary.

Additional Notes:Candidates should be prepared to address various types of surgeries, including orthopedic and pediatric cases.This position does not require experience in neonatal anesthesia or complex vascular cases.The facility is classified as trauma level 0.
