Description:We are looking for multiple providers to work Monday through Friday.There may be opportunities to pick up a weekend occasionally.This position involves a medically directed practice with collegial anesthesiologists.On average, providers will manage 1-2 longer cases or 3-4 shorter cases per 8-hour day.The surgical schedule is busy and includes a variety of procedures, excluding transplants and pediatric hearts.This role involves one-to-one patient care while providing anesthesia in the operating rooms, catheter lab, gastrointestinal lab, electrophysiology lab, MRI, and CT as needed.Providers will care for all patient age groups in a Level 1 trauma center with practice available seven days a week.Shifts include 8, 10, or 12 hours from Monday to Friday, with 12 or 16-hour shifts available on weekends.A 30-minute unpaid lunch is included during shifts.The CRNA in this position may work across different locations.The facility is a high-acuity new facility that opened recently and includes multiple operating rooms and endoscopy suites.Approximately 90% of cases are outpatient surgeries.Caring for various surgical cases is expected, including cardiology, orthopedic, vascular, neuro, obstetrical, pediatric, and regional surgeries.Providers should be skilled in general anesthesia, including adult and pediatric patients.Additional skills required include management of trauma cases, spinal anesthesia, and complex orthopedic cases.Epidural techniques are not required for this position.Ventilation management and evaluation of acute volume and blood pressure issues are essential skills.Arterial line placement is required.This position does not require central line or PA catheter placement.CRNA supervision is not required for this role.
