Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' Salem VA Medical Center in Salem, Virginia seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide peri-operative anesthesia care in acute medical and surgical settings.

Responsibilities include pre-operative evaluation, intraoperative anesthesia administration, and post-operative management, with on-site schedule Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm and on-call coverage. This vacancy participates in EDRP and may include relocation incentives.

Responsibilities

• The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides anesthetic care to patients under their scope of practice.
• Care includes pre-anesthesia evaluation - peri-operative anesthetic administration and post-operative management.
• Specific practice settings are in Acute Medical & Surgical inpatient and outpatient settings.
• The CRNA is located within Surgical Care service at the Salem VA Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.
