Odyssey Locums is seeking a LOCUM CRNA to cover OB, orthopedics, ENT, ophthalmology and general cases at a community hospital near Temple, TX. Start date is as soon as credentialed; full-time, M-F with optional pager call.

EMR is Epic; credentialing takes 60–90 days. POS: 4 OR, 1 OB, 2 Endo. Daily: 4 MDs, 8 CRNAs. 6.8 cases/day. Referral bonus of $500; competitive hourly pay with housing, travel and tail malpractice coverage.

Aufgaben

• Provide CRNA coverage in OB, orthopedics, ENT, ophthalmology and general bread-and-butter cases.
• Work in a care team model with Medical Directorship, but operates more like Medical Supervision.
• EMR: Epic.
• Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days.
• Call is pager call from home with 30 min call back radius; 3–6 calls per month; weekend on call every 6th or 8th weekend.

• Schedule: Full-time, M-F + optional call
• Community Hospital
• Practice setting: Care Team Model, MedicallyDirected but operates more like Med. Supervision.
• Types of cases: OB 120-130 deliveries/month, Light Peds (ENT), Ortho, Ophthalmology, General Bread and Butter, Endo
• Types of POS (OR/endo/OB etc.): 4 OR, 1 OB, 2 Endo
• # of POS run daily: 6.8
• Call: Call is pager call from home with 30 min call back radius. Only 1 CRNA on call and back up call is an MD. Facility does have call rooms if outside radius. CRNAs take 3-6 calls/month. Every 6th or 8th weekend on call.
• # of MDs daily: 4
• # of CRNAs daily: 8
