Job summary

Memorial Hospital - Chattanooga is seeking a CRNA to join our anesthesia team in Chattanooga, TN. The role covers CommonSpirit Memorial locations in Chattanooga, Hixson, and Ringgold/N.

GA, with a focus on safe general and regional anesthesia across a diverse case mix. The ideal candidate will provide expert anesthesia care under surgeon/anesthesiologist supervision, adhere to surgical standards, and support collaborative teamwork to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain GA and TN licensure.
  • AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
  • Completion of nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation or its predecessor.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe general and regional anesthesia for assigned patients under supervision of the surgeon/anesthesiologist.
  • Meet established surgical standards and manage anesthesia supplies/equipment in the Operating Room.
  • Demonstrate expertise in anesthesia administration and management.
  • Adhere to Surgical Standards and Recommended Practices.
  • Foster teamwork within the OR and across departments.
  • Work with a wide variety of cases (no OB or pediatrics).

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist), you will join an exceptional team at CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. Every day you will provide a safe anesthetic experience for assigned patients ensuring the highest standards of care. You will be responsible for meeting established surgical standards, and meticulously managing anesthesia supplies and equipment in the Operating Room. You will also have the opportunity for a wide variety of cases (no OB or peds), and will be part of a team that covers CommonSpirit Memorial in Chattanooga, TN (primary location), and rotates through CommonSpirit Memorial - Hixson, TN, and CommonSpirit Memorial - Ringgold/N. GA locations.

To be successful in this role, you will meticulously provide safe general and regional anesthetic experiences for assigned patients, working under the guidance of the attending surgeon/anesthesiologist. You will demonstrate exceptional expertise in anesthesia administration and management, ensure rigorous adherence to Surgical Standards and Recommended Practices, and proactively foster teamwork within the Operating Room and across departments to achieve optimal patient outcomes and efficient surgical operations. Job Requirements

Required

  • Ability to obtain GA and TN licensure
  • AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Completion of nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor. Compliance with criteria for biannual re-certification, as defined by the AANA Council on Re-certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
