Job summary

Constellation is hiring Business Development Specialist I/II to maintain data integrity in the CRM, support the sales and account teams, and liaise with pricing and legal on pre-deal issues. The role includes travel for meetings, training attendance, and in-person collaboration at offices within commutable distance of Boston, Baltimore, Houston or Chicago.

Two levels offer different responsibilities and compensation; BDS I focuses on data entry and basic support, while BDS II provides advanced

Qualifications

• Highly proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills to function in a team environment and to maintain rapport with employees and customers.

• Ability to effectively build and maintain relationships with internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Data Entry and Maintenance. Creates opportunities, offers, and various pricing scenarios to support transactions. Owns accuracy and integrity of customer data in CRM system.
• Utility Knowledge. Provides data and technical support to Business Development Managers and Account Managers with a proficient understanding of regional utility requirements.
• Communication. Responds to RFPs primarily by email and coordinates with Sales and other functions during data validation and contract execution.
• Process Improvements. Assists with ad hoc requests for process improvements and system testing.
• Travel required as necessary to meet business needs.
• In-person attendance for trainings, team meetings, and other moments that matter.
