Job summary

I-2-I Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dependable Utility and Critical Water Sampling Technician to support water-quality monitoring at the Asheville VA Medical Center. The technician will collect utility and critical-water samples, perform field measurements, maintain sampling documentation, and prepare samples for laboratory transport.

Occasional repeat or emergency sampling may be required. Part-time, as-needed field position with monthly sampling generally between the 10th and 15th of each

Qualifications

• Experience in water sampling or related environment preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain records.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Collect utility and critical-water samples from designated locations.
• Perform field measurements (pH, conductivity, temp, turbidity).
• Label, preserve, and store samples; maintain chain-of-custody docs.
• Prepare samples for lab transport and timely submission.
• Coordinate sampling visits with VA personnel and I-2-I Solutions.
• Report anomalies and assist with emergency sampling as needed.
• Complete VA compliance-awareness and records-management training.
