Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current Massachusetts SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
ASHA certification or eligibility preferred.
Strong clinical and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
Ability to work effectively independently and within an interdisciplinary team.
Flexibility with scheduling.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals
Provide skilled speech-language therapy using appropriate evidence-based techniques
Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as clinically indicated
Evaluate and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, dietary, and other interdisciplinary professionals
Participate in care planning and communicate resident progress
Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment strategies
Promote patient safety, independence, communication, and quality of life
