ABM is seeking an experienced Critical Facility Technician Journeyman - HVAC to support mission-critical data center and commercial mechanical operations in Warrenton, VA, and the Northern Virginia region. Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills across HVAC, mechanical, electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and controls systems.
• Ability to work independently in customer-facing commercial and mission-critical environments.
• Strong judgment to determine when to repair, escalate, quote, or involve specialized support.
• Ability to prioritize work based on safety, customer impact, equipment criticality, and uptime risk.
• Comfortable working in live critical environments where communication, documentation, and procedural discipline are required.
• Strong communication skills with customers, vendors, dispatch, technicians, and leadership.
• Detail-oriented approach to PM records, service reports, refrigerant logs, deficiency notes, and follow-up recommendations.
• Professional appearance, dependable attendance, and ability to represent ABM well in the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems across critical facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment in live, mission-critical environments.
• Complete inspections and maintain accurate service documentation and logs.
• Communicate clearly with customers, leadership, and vendors; coordinate on-site activities.
• Ensure uptime and safety by prioritizing tasks and escalating when needed.
