Job summary

Newmark is seeking a Building Engineer for its critical data center in West Chester, OH. You will maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, security and fire protection systems supporting server rooms and core infrastructure.

The role requires 5+ years in critical data center operations, familiarity with building automation and power monitoring systems, and the ability to respond to emergencies while complying with relevant codes and safety training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data center operations experience.
• Familiarity with Federal, State and Local codes and standards.
• Proficient with building automation and electrical power monitoring systems.
• CFC certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, security and fire protection systems.
• Identify and respond to faults and emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Perform preventive tests and analyze data for proper operation of systems.
• Monitor and adjust chilled water, HVAC, electrical, and back-up systems; log readings.
