Job summary

Trusted Health seeks an experienced travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in New York (Acra area). You will float to multiple units, work nights, and operate with Epic EMR. A Pennsylvania license or Compact license is required for submission.

BSN is required, with 2 years of experience and 12 months in the last 18 months in Critical Care. Shift is 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week; local and travel options available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care experience.
• 12 months CCU/ICU within the last 18 months.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required with 1 month in last 6 months.
• BSN degree required.

Responsibilities

• Float to multiple units including Med-Surg, ED, and ICU as needed.
• Provide patient care during 7:00 PM–7:30 AM shifts.
• Ensure compliance with pre-employment and licensure requirements.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Critical Care experience with any experience within the last 18 months.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic is required with 1 month within the last 6 months.

• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

2+ years of ICU experience preferred.TNK for stroke, withdrawal management for OUD population, and BMT knowledge are helpful.

Unit Details:

Mixed critical care unit with medical, cardiac, surgical, and neuro patients. No trauma.Cases seen include sepsis, ARDS, CKD, MOF, overdoses, OUD/SUD, and bone marrow transplant complications.Uses Belmont Rapid Transfuser, NX Stage CRRT, Arjo, and Stryker Altrix.

Shift & Scheduling:

Every other weekend.Holidays as needed.

Floating Requirements:

Float to Med-Surg (telemetry as priority) and ED for admission holds only.

7 days maximum time off

2 Manager references required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
