Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a Critical Care Transport nurse to apply the nursing process, plan and implement patient care, and educate families. You will collaborate across teams to set goals, evaluate outcomes, and advance professional growth in LifeFlight’s state-of-the-art Critical Care Ambulance.

Ideal candidates are experienced in critical care transport, hold mandatory ACLS/BLS/PALS/NRP/STABLE certifications, and possess advanced trauma and nursing certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have EMT/AMT certification or equivalent credentials.
• Prior Critical Care Transport nursing experience preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP and STABLE certifications required.
• NIMS IS-100, IS-200, IS-700 and IS-800 training preferred.
• Difficult Airway Course (D.A.C.) required.
• Advanced Trauma Certification (PHTLS/TPATC) preferred.
• Advanced Nursing Certification (CTRN/CFRN) preferred.
• Compact RN license highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care and coordinates delivery across the continuum.
• Analyzes information to determine nursing diagnosis and care actions.
• Uses the nursing process to evaluate progress and adjust interventions.
• Promotes health and a safe environment for patients and families.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
