Job summary

Qualifications

• Virginia RN license required (VDHP)
• CPR/BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire
• PALS certification required within 180 days of hire
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Critical care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assesses and plans patient care based on standards of practice for the unit.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure safe patient transitions.
• Delivers individualized education to patients and families; documents outcomes.
• Prioritizes and delegates tasks to ensure quality patient care and respond to emergencies.
• Completes clinical and quality documentation per RHS standards and regulatory requirements.
• Supports throughput and ethical, high-quality care through evidence-based practices.
