Job summary

Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking a Critical Care Technician for the Pali Momi Medical Center Telemetry Unit. You will play a key role in delivering high quality intermediate care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.

The position is night shift (12 hours) with a Full Time Regular schedule and 0.9 FTE. The hospital emphasizes teamwork, rapid assessment, and collaboration across care teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Job description

With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.

Our Telemetry Unit provides competent and quality intermediate care to patients who are hemodynamically stable/unstable and require continuous cardiac monitoring. The Telemetry Unit is designed for patients who require continuous cardiac monitoring, or frequent assessments and interventions, which cannot be provided on the general Medical/Surgical Units, yet who are more stable than those requiring Intensive Care Services.

As the Critical Care Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring that Pali Momi is able to provide quality, effective intervention for patients with critical health conditions. This includes assessment planning and participating in the development and evaluation of patient care plans in assigned units.
