Job summary

CommonSpirit Health in Breckenridge, CO is seeking a Critical Care Tech to provide direct and indirect patient care in collaboration with an RN or physician, supporting daily patient needs and assisting the care team.

You will participate in IV insertion, wound care, and charting while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality. Required certifications include EMT/Paramedic and Basic Life Support, with preference for acute-care experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EMT/EMTA/EMTI/Paramedic certificate and IV Therapy certificate required.
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate patient/family observations to RN and physician to assist treatment.
• Perform IV insertion, splinting, wound care as directed by RN/physician.
• Document all tasks accurately in patient records per medical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with the care team to plan, follow up, and evaluate patient care.
