Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Ann Arbor is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for PRN dayshift. Hours are 7:00 am to 7:30 pm or 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, with a $5,000 sign-on and $41.00 per hour pay.

The role includes evaluations, expert respiratory care, and patient/family education on a critical illness recovery unit located on the 7th floor of Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital. Competitive shift differentials apply for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients to determine appropriate respiratory care plans.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement and educate patients and families.
