AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, FL, is offering a Critical Care Nurse (CCN) Training Program for registered nurses transitioning into critical care. This full-time, night-shift program includes structured learning, clinical preceptorship, and pathways in ICU or PCU, with mentorship and a commitment to safety and quality care.

Program participants gain hands-on experience, complete simulations, and are supported through certification and career development opportunities within the AdventHealth

Qualifications

• RN license required (Florida)
• CPR/BLS certification required
• ACS/ALS certification as applicable
• Commitment to employment terms

Responsibilities

• Assess patients comprehensively across physiological and psychosocial factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure safe, effective care.
• Document care activities accurately in medical records.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are met.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care among staff as needed.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and performance improvement.
