Merit Health Natchez is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process and collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure quality outcomes.

You will assess patients, administer medications, participate in life-support and emergency responses, educate patients and families, and uphold infection control and safety standards across shifts. This role offers professional growth and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Mississippi or multi-state license.
• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Ability to work night shifts and adhere to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Document care thoroughly in the medical record.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-support as needed.
