Job summary

LCMC Health in Louisiana is seeking a critical care nurse to lead, coordinate, and deliver high-level patient care during the night shift.

Must hold a Louisiana nursing license and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; you’ll advocate safety, continuity of care, and exceptional patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead: prioritizing, coordinating, and delegating all care touchpoints for your patients.
• Evaluate vital signs and monitor life support measures such as advanced heart and respiratory technology.
• Apply knowledge of complex patient conditions including psycho/social needs.
• Maintain and advocate a safe environment for everyone.
• Engage with patients, families and care team for significant events, patient questions and concerns.
• Ensure continuity of care and exceptional patient experience.
• Initiate patient and family education using appropriate resources.
