Lakeview Hospital, part of LCMC Health, seeks an experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our Level II trauma center on the Northshore. You will lead patient care at night, coordinate with care teams, and support families with compassion.

The role requires Louisiana nursing licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with a strong emphasis on high-level critical thinking, safety, and evidence-based practice. Join us to provide extraordinary care.

Formación

• Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana and as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Prioritize, coordinate, and delegate care touchpoints for patients.
• Evaluate vital signs and monitor life support measures.
• Apply knowledge of complex patient conditions including psychosocial needs.
• Maintain a safe environment and monitor infection control standards.
• Collaborate with care teams and nursing supervisor for patient needs.
• Initiate patient and family education using appropriate resources.
• Contribute to continuity of care and ongoing communications with patients and families.
