Job summary

The role requires an accredited nursing degree and active Michigan RN license, BLS/ACLS, Basic Dysrhythmia, and at least six months of acute care experience. You will mentor staff, lead care coordination, and participate in discharge planning on a full-time schedule.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and holding a current license to practice in the state of Michigan.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Must satisfactorily complete ACLS course and Critical Care course within one year of hire/transfer
- Must satisfactorily complete first available Basic Dysrhythmia course
- Six-month experience in acute care setting or equivalent
- Critical Care Registered Nurse
Responsibilities
- Leads nursing care coordination with delegation of assignments.
- Integrates evidence-based knowledge into practice.
- Facilitates patient conferences and discharge planning.
- Teaches and mentors professional and ancillary personnel.
- Precepts/mentors new employees and students.
- Functions as a team leader to ensure proper patient placement and delegation of assignments.
