Hunt Regional Healthcare seeks a registered nurse to collaborate, plan, direct and implement patient care across all ages. The RN will educate patients and families and evaluate care using standards of care.

Responsibilities include compliance with HMHD policies, HIPAA adherence, compassionate patient support, safety, IV meds administration and transfusion checks per policy. Relevant licenses and CPR are required; ACLS/TNCC certifications are preferred within 18 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Current licensure with the State of Texas
• Appropriate CPR Certification
• General knowledge of basic bedside nursing

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates understanding of HMHD Compliance Plan
• Adheres to HMHD values and Code of Conduct
• Completes corporate integrity training and education programs
• Demonstrates proficiency in materials from integrity & compliance program
• Complies with HIPAA standards
• Provides emotional, psychological and spiritual support to patients, families
• Promotes patient independence through education on condition, meds and self-care
• Maintains quality of care by adhering to standards and adjusting as needed
• Maintains safe, clean environment and calls for assistance when needed
• Maintains department certifications per policy
• Maintains state Licensure
• Completes RN admission assessment within 24 hours of admissions
• Administers specific IV meds per policy and checks blood products per policy
