Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess patient conditions including vital signs and intervene with appropriate care.
• Monitor and provide care to critically ill, unstable, and/or life-threatening patients.
• Manage life-support systems such as ventilation and heart monitoring.
• Participate in rapid response and other emergency situations.
• Administer medications and other treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.
