Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a registered nurse to deliver advanced patient care in high-acuity units. You will manage complex assessments, adjust therapies, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to stabilize and support patients.

The role requires a Florida RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of RN experience, with ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC as needed for specific units. You will participate in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department.
Minimum of one year RN experience.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies.
Utilizes information and assessment data to anticipate and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
Identifies and prioritizes information to take immediate, evidence-based, patient-focused actions.
Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment and interprets cardiac monitors and other displays.
Responds to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol.
Assesses patient needs and develops an individualized plan of care and evaluates progress.
