AdventHealth in Zephyrhills, Florida, is seeking a registered nurse to join our full-time team. The role involves conducting comprehensive patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and administering medications and treatments with a strong focus on patient safety.

The position requires an Associate’s of Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred) and RN licensure, with opportunities for career development and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in critical care area as defined by unit.
• Excellent organization and interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft windows based programs.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• EKG knowledge (based on patient population; see document EKG and Advanced Life Support Requirements).
• Previous EKG Interpretation Class [Preferred]
• EPIC [Preferred]

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
