Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high‑quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, and coordinate with the medical team to ensure safe medication practices and excellent patient experiences.

Required RN license with BLS CPR, infection control awareness, and 2+ years of clinical experience; nurses with Cerner EMR familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN with active license (Florida or eligible)
• BLS CPR certified required
• 2+ years of clinical nurse experience preferred (acute care/units)
• Infection prevention and patient safety knowledge
• Strong plan-of-care development and execution
• Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of patient education and discharge planning
• Experience with quality and regulatory standards

Responsibilities

• Follow infection prevention protocols and medication safety guidelines.
• Set measurable short- and long-range patient care goals and implement plans.
• Assess and adjust care plans based on patient progress and outcomes.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team and document hand-offs.
• Monitor unit operations, staffing, and patient flow; support leadership duties.
• Mentor junior staff and participate in audits and performance initiatives.
