Responsibilities include assessing status, managing ventilation, maintaining airway function, educating patients and families, and ensuring equipment safety and adherence to clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ respiratory status and determine appropriate interventions.
• Manage invasive and noninvasive ventilation, including monitoring and adjustment of therapy.
• Support and maintain airway function as needed.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care, treatment plans, and self-management.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to coordinate care and optimize outcomes.
• Maintain respiratory equipment, ensure proper function, and uphold safety and clinical standards.
