Select Specialty Hospital OKC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for per diem/PRN night shifts. The role focuses on evaluating patients and delivering respiratory care to critically ill adults, including those with complex medical and surgical conditions.

You will work in a high-acuity setting, providing endotracheal tube management, adhering to ACLS and BLS requirements, and contributing to ongoing quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Must possess Active NBRC CRT or RRT credential.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma preferred or HS transcript/GED.
• BLS certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
