Regency Hospital - Macon in Macon, GA is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our critical illness recovery team. This full-time night shift position offers 12-hour shifts and a competitive hourly salary.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, delivering respiratory care, assisting with endotracheal procedures, and participating in quality improvement. Qualifications include NBRC CRT/RRT, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and active state licensure.

Qualifications

• Must hold Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire (for Agency RT ACLS on first shift; PRN ACLS on hire).

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.

Education
