Qualifications

• Current license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the State of California.
• Graduate from an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program.
• Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Therapy (NBRT/NBRC).
• CPR, NRP, and PALS current; ACLS preferred; NRP may be obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care per departmental policies.
• Perform arterial blood gas procedures and ventilator management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation for charges.
• Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of respiratory equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians, RCPs and nurses in patient care.
